Oregon Tech's Karissa Dixon, a 5-foot-10 junior from Medford, has been named Cascade Collegiate Conference women's basketball player of the week.
It's the second time in two weeks the former North Medford standout has earned the honor.
Dixon totaled 37 points, 21 rebounds and six assists to help OIT to a weekend sweep over Concordia University and Warner Pacific.
She scored 24 points Saturday night, leading Tech past Warner Pacific, 71-62, as the Owls leapfrogged the Knights into third place in the Cascade Conference standings.
Dixon combined to shoot 14-for-26 (54 percent) from the field over the weekend, including 6-for-14 on 3-pointers.
Oregon Tech (16-5, 9-4 CCC) will play Southern Oregon (16-8, 6-7) on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in Ashland.
