Paul W. Skeeter passed away January 26, 2013, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. There will be a church service at St. Marks Episcopal Church at 1:00 p.m at 426 W 6th St., Medford, Ore., followed by a military service at 3:00 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery, Father Jed Holdorph will be officiating.

Paul was born January 17, 1924 in Charleston, W. Va., to Joseph Skeeter and Thelma Cantrell. He married Lucille Wolford at St. Mark's in St. Albans, W. Va. June 5, 1946.

Paul served in the U.S. Army as a lieutenant and served in the occupation forces in Germany, Okinawa, and Korea. He worked with the public utility commission in West Virginia, in aerospace sales, and "captain of industry" as CEO of SOTO Corporation. Paul loved boating; fine art; travel; reading, especially history; and horses (he could always pick a winner).

Paul is survived by wife, Lucille; brothers, Tom Skeeter and Paul Skeeter Jr. (Denise); daughters, Marilyn Myers (Dave), Nancy Trubenbach (Dave), Cathy Spengler (Steve), and Jodie Millard; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Paul's children remember him best as a guy who would always take them on great adventures. He was preceded in death by his brother, James; sister, Nancy; both parents; and numerous aunts, uncles, and dear friends.
