    • Kidnapping — Patrick Phillip Laird, 24, of Aloha. Medford police Friday arrested Laird on charges of second-degree kidnapping, coercion, fourth-degree assault and menacing. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on more than $1 million bail.
    • Burglary, theft, vehicle theft — Austin Allen Frost, 31, of the 2900 block of Howard Avenue, Medford. Medford police Friday arrested Frost on three counts of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, two counts of second-degree theft and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail without bail.
    • Identity theft, drugs — Kayla Ann Strange, 22, of the 2600 block of Table Rock Road, Medford. Central Point police Saturday arrested Strange on charges of possession of methamphetamine, two counts of failure to appear in court and eight counts of aggravated identity theft. She was lodged in jail on $98,000 bail.
    • Drugs — Brandon Scott McMurtrie, 23, of the 6400 block of Highway 238, Jacksonville. Medford police Saturday arrested McMurtrie on charges of possession of methamphetamine and failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail and released because of overcrowding.
    • Drugs — Francisco Barbosa-Guerrero, 21, of the 400 block of Northwest Third Street, Grants Pass. Rogue River police Saturday arrested Barbosa-Guerrero on charges of possession of methamphetamine, manufacture of methamphetamine, delivery of methamphetamine and an out-of-county warrant. He was lodged in jail without bail.
    • Drugs — Megan Lorraine Haynes, 20, no known address. Medford police Saturday arrested Haynes on charges of possession of marijuana, delivery of marijuana and manufacture of marijuana. She was lodged in jail on $35,000 bail.
    • Drugs — Benjamin Robert Hoover, 25, no known address. Medford police Saturday arrested Hoover on charges of possession of marijuana, delivery of marijuana and manufacture of marijuana. He was lodged in jail on $35,000 bail.
