Low-cost pet vaccination clinic set

Jackson County Animal Care & Control will host its monthly low-cost pet vaccination and nail-trimming clinic from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at 5595 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix.

Vaccinations will cost $10, and nail trimmings will cost $5. Only cash will be accepted. Shots available include rabies and distemper and a parvo booster for dogs, and a rabies and distemper booster for cats. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old. Animals on antibiotics, in heat or on cortisone products cannot be vaccinated.

Dog and cat licenses will be available for purchase with the rabies certification.
