  • The Medford Airport received a national award today from the Transportation Safety Administration commending it for its partnership with the organization.
Airport Director Bern Case said the 2012 TSA National Partnership Award was given to the airport for its work in identifying unsecured areas of the airport, then using technology and personnel to make them more secure.
Medford's airport was the only "non-hub" airport out of 150 in the country to receive the award.
"We're very honored to get it," Case said.
