Drug investigators have seized methamphetamine, packaging, scales, a shotgun and $3,608 alleged to be proceeds from drug trafficking from a White City home.
After many months of investigation, Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement team got a search warrant Wednesday, MADGE Lt. Brett Johnson said.
Investigators found about three ounces of methamphetamine, along with the other items believed to be related to drug sales, and arrested Sergio Castro-Gonzalez, 23, of White City on charges of possession, delivery manufacture of a methamphetamine. Castro was lodged in Jackson County Jail, where he remains today on $1,010,000 bail.
A man showed up at the residence during the investigation, but then ran when investigators tried to question him, said Johnson.
Police then ran after the man, identified as Eric Alan Jenkins II, 21, no known address, and tackled him in the yard, Johnson said.
He was arrested on unrelated warrants charging him with failing to appear on a past meth-possession charge. He also remained in jail today on $4,000 bail.
He was found to have $140 in cash in his pockets and investigators found his presence at the residence highly suspicious said Johnson.
