Helen J. Deba, 82, of Medford, Ore. passed away Friday, February 8, 2013, from complications due to Alzheimer's disease.

Born in Allensville, Ky., she was the wife of the late John F. Deba, and mother of four. She made a career in nursing at Springfield State Hospital in Sykesville, Md. Upon retirement they made their residence in Sun City West, Ariz. where she enjoyed an active social life of traveling, bowling, and cards surrounded by friends.

She is survived by her children, John Deba, Stephanie Deba Lauck, Patricia Deba, and Michele Deba Lewis; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters, Izeta Martin and Mary Glenn Robertson.

Her ashes will be put to rest along side of her husband at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service dedicated in her name at 8:30 a.m. February 24, 2013, at the Sun City Christian Church, 9745 W. Palmeras Dr., Sun City, AZ. Interment at the National Memorial Cemetery on February 25, 2013 will be private.
