The combined heroics of Kevin Edwards and Sebastian Romeo brought the Southern Oregon Spartans amateur hockey team all the way back on Sunday at The RRRink.
Trailing the Fresno Monsters 4-2 late in the second period, the two alternated goals and the Spartans picked up a 6-4 triumph, finishing up the three-game series with a pair of wins.
The Monsters (29-13-0-1) led 4-1 until Jeff Salzbrunn scored midway through the second period to start the Spartans' comeback.
Romeo followed with a goal with four minutes left in the period and sandwiched another in between Edwards' third-period goals.
Avik Bordak also scored for the Spartans (23-16-1-0).
