SOU students learn police work

Southern Oregon University criminal justice majors will attend the SOU Criminology Club's annual lock-in event from 9:30 a.m. to 7:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at the Stevenson Union.

Students will work with criminal justice professionals in training scenarios and practice what police do in the field. Medford, Ashland, Grants Pass, and Central Point police agencies will attend, along with Oregon State Police's Drug Task Force and the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
