A fire raged through a vacant house on Columbus Avenue in west Medford late Friday night, according to a report from Medford Fire-Rescue.
At 11:42 p.m., police and fire crews raced to a two-story house at 1468 S. Columbus and found the structure burning.
Five units and 15 firefighters battled the blaze and had it under control within 20 minutes, officials said. Apparatus and personnel remained on scene for several hours overhauling the fire. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
