Workshop discusses emergency readiness

A seminar on the importance of emergency preparedness will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at the Medford Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1900 Greenwood St., Medford.

Topics addressed include how to be prepared for any number of emergency situations. The event is free and open to the public.

The seminar is hosted by the Medford and Jackson County Offices of Emergency Preparedness, American Red Cross, United Way, Medford Fire-Rescue, area police departments and the Medford Seventh-day Adventist Church.
