William "Bill" Bartlett born August 14, 1931, to Emerson and Lidia Bartlett in Danforth, Maine, passed away February 17, 2013, in Entiat, Wash.

Bill was a standout basketball and baseball player at Danforth High School. He was an accomplished guitar player and singer; his love of music will be a forever joyous memory to his many family and friends. He enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, campfire songs, and time with family.

He owned Valley Piano Moving Service and Bartlett's Furniture Refinishing in Los Angeles, Calif. prior to moving to the Rogue Valley in 1971. He worked in the timber industry and construction locally prior to attaining his real estate appraisal licensing certification and was then employed by the Jackson County Assessment Office until his retirement.

Bill was married to Claire DesRoberts from 1953 to 1966, and Judy Vance from 1968 to 2008. He is survived by his children, Bill Bartlett (Debbie), Steven Bartlett, Terri Travis (Mike), Kelli Bartlett, Janice Shanks (Thomas), Phyllis Wheeler (Mike), and Roxanne Nolas; grandchildren, Curtis Bartlett (Erin), Christine Spires (Chad), Brittany and Garrett Travis, Anthony Wheeler, Jennifer, Jamie and Jessica Pisarich, and Storm and River Dumont; great-grandchildren, Odin, Penelope, and Eloise Spires and Brynn Bartlett; brother, Winston; and sister, Barbara. He was preceded in death by his grandchildren, Brooke Travis and Sage Dumont; parents; and 10 siblings.
