  • The FBI and a search and rescue team were called in Monday to help look for a 14-year-old girl who disappeared from Bear Creek Skate Park Saturday afternoon.
Starla Marie Carrero was last seen talking to some boys near the skate park on Highland Drive just after 5 p.m. Saturday.
Her 37-year-old mother, Andrea Carrero, and friends searched the area and tried to get the word out for any information about Starla, who left her purse and skateboard behind.
"I'm very concerned she may have been lured away somehow," Carrero said.
Medford police Lt. Mike Budreau said, "The more time goes by, the more concerned we get, and the more suspicious we get."
Police are encouraging anyone with any information to call 541-770-4784.
