  • Deborah K. Fisher, 59, of Eagle Point, Ore. lost her battle to cancer February 25, 2013 at Rogue Regional Medical Center.
Deb was born to Lloyd Vaughn and Guyla McAllister March 1, 1953 in Canyonville Ore. After attending school in Glendale Ore., Deb and her family moved to Helena, Mont., where she spent most of her youth. Years later the family relocated to Azalea, Ore., where she lived on the family ranch until moving to Ashland, Ore. where she met Roger Fisher in 1977. After a long courtship, Deb and Roger were married April 26, 1980 in Carson City, Nev. by Carl Carlson. It always made her laugh when she said this.
In 1983, Deb and Roger moved to Eagle Point, Ore. to start their lives and raise their only daughter, Leslie, together. Over the years Deb ran a very successful awards, gifts, and glass carving business, even doing work for Walt Disney and Intel. She was an amazing artist whose talents shined in everything she did. Deb was a selfless, generous person who loved to see the smile on people's faces when she gave them a gift of her self-taught talent.
Deb was a lover of life who always offered her wisdom of what she felt was right. She enjoyed working with her glass projects in her shop, drag racing, music, and spending time with her family and two cockatoos, Riley and Moose. She always had a passion for her horses, growing up with them, then later in life when she bred and raised many successful Arabian and National Show Horses.
Survivors include her husband, Roger, of Eagle Point; daughter, Leslie Bowman, of Medford; sister, Gayle (Rocky) Reuterdaul, of Helena, Mont.; brothers, David (Donna) Vaughn and Robert Vaughn, both of Azalea, Ore.; and niece, Kathy (Michael) McClarrinon, of Yelm, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Guyla Vaughn; and sister, Lynn Sawyer.
A celebration of life and potluck will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m., April 6, 2013, at the Ashpole Community Center at the Eagle Point City Hall, 17 S. Buchanan, Eagle Point, Ore. Please bring one of your favorite dishes and something Deb has made for you over the years to share with others.
Arrangements by Conger-Morris Funeral Directors, Medford (541) 772-7111.
