Christ Unity Church holds Sacred Healing Meditation

Christ Unity Church will hold a Sacred Healing Meditation at noon Saturday, March 9, at 540 N. Holly St., Medford. The meditation will focus on enhancing self-esteem and deepening awareness of spiritual connection.

The Rev. Rob Wheeler will give a sermon on "Sabbath" at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 10, at the church. The lesson supports the church's March theme of "Our Season for Spiritual Growth."

Congregational United Church of Christ plans events

Medford Congregational United Church of Christ will hold contemplative prayer at 9 a.m. before the worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 10, at 1801 E. Jackson St. After the worship service, congregants may stay in the sanctuary for personal and healing prayer.

Knitters and crocheters will meet to work on prayer shawls from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in Lidgate Hall of the church.

The church also hosts a YMCA Tai Chi class from 3 to 4 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays, and a Qui Gong class from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays in Lidgate Hall.

Center for Spiritual Living lists its coming events

The Rev. Joy-Anne Fournier will give the second of two installments of her sermon on "Growing Holy Relationships" at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, March 10, at the Center for Spiritual Living, 3581 Lear Way, Medford. A children's program will be offered, and the congregation is encouraged to bring a friend to the service.

Will Richardson will continue his ongoing spiritual study group covering "Conversations With God, Book One" by Ashland author Neale Donald Walsch from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the center. The event will include an open discussion and books will be provided for those who don't have them.

Havurah takes reservations for Passover Sedar

The Havurah Synagogue is taking reservations for its 28th annual Passover Seder at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at 185 N. Mountain Ave., Ashland.
