Tuesday, March 12 — “Wristwatch,” “Catfish,” “Mobile for Paper,” “Meditation” and “Aphasia,” composed by jazz musician Mark Applebaum, will be presented when the ensemble performs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, in the Music Recital Hall on the Southern Oregon University campus, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland.

Percussion trio Compas will perform “Theme in Search of Variations I,” a three-minute composition for 32 instruments, and the concert will close with the ensemble’s premiere of Applebaum’s “30” for 12 percussionists.
