The case of the state vs. Bert R. Greer, editor of the Ashland Tidings, will be among the first cases called when the criminal work in the Circuit Court is taken up for the March term. It is believed that Greer will have returned from the east where he has been since December by that time, but if he is not here Prosecuting Attorney Kelly will move to have his bond forfeited.

Greer was charged with criminal libel during the fall campaign by County Judge F.L. Tou Velle, then a candidate. He was given a preliminary hearing and bound over to await action by the grand jury.

To give their child away, agree to separate, sue for divorce, make up, drop divorce proceedings, ask for their child again and get it back, required less than 30 days time on the part of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Parman of Ashland. Now that all is serene again they plan to leave for their former home in Colorado.

About a month ago Mr. and Mrs. Parman decided that life together was unbearable, so they decided to separate. A sister of Parman was given the child and she adopted it. Later the Parmans made up and decided to start over again. This was after divorce proceedings had been instituted.

The divorce case was dropped and County Judge Tou Velle petitioned to annul the adoption papers. This he did yesterday.
