PHOENIX — A community yard sale to help the owners of the recently shuttered Roscoe's BBQ restaurant in Phoenix is planned from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the restaurant, 117 S. Main St., Phoenix.

Will Moore, who operated Roscoe's with his wife, Nikola, is fighting Stevens-Johnson syndrome, a painful and life-threatening skin disorder that can be caused by infections or allergic reactions to medicines.

Medical bills are piling up and Moore has no health insurance, sale organizers said.

Household goods, tables, chairs, posters, paintings and furniture will be available for purchase. Quality items can be donated for sale, starting at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.

Monetary donations can made via Paypal at roscoesbbq@yahoo.com, and checks or money orders can be mailed to P.O. Box 721, Phoenix, OR, 97535.
