Sunday, March 17 — The university’s Chamber and Concert choirs will perform music that ranges from Bach to Irish folk songs at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 17, in the Music Recital Hall on the SOU campus, 1250 Siskyou Blvd., Ashland.

The university’s Chamber and Concert choirs will perform music that ranges from Bach to Irish folk songs at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 17, in the Music Recital Hall on the SOU campus, 1250 Siskyou Blvd., Ashland.

The Chamber Choir — an ensemble of 40 voices — will perform works by Bach, Scottish composer James MacMillan, American composer Eric Whitacre and classical composer Josquin de Pres.

The Concert Choir — an ensemble of 50 — will perform music by Bach and Mendelssohn. Fredna Grimland and Paul French will conduct. Tickets cost $5, free for students, and are available at the hall’s box office and www.sou.edu/performingarts or by calling 541-552-6348.
