U.S. Rep. Greg Walden will travel to Jackson, Klamath, Lake, Harney, and Crook counties beginning on Friday for town hall meetings, visits with veteran and active duty groups, and a tour of a central Oregon data center.
On Friday, Walden will tour Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics in White City and meet with its new director, Don Burman, to discuss efforts to provide health care access for rural veterans.
With the Lake and Harney county town hall meetings, Walden will have held town hall meetings in all 20 counties of the Second Congressional District since Jan. 1. They will mark the 43rd and 44th town hall meetings in slightly more than a year. He credits such meetings for keeping his to-do list fresh.
