The Southern Oregon 12U and 11U Giants won championships at the March Mayhem Tournament over the weekend at U.S. Cellular Community Park.

The 12U squad finished 4-0. Kevin Botermans went 9-for-11 to lead the Giants, who outscored their opponents 47-6.

Tyler Neimann led the 11U squad to a 5-0 record by going 8-for-12 with a home run and four doubles.

The 10U Giants fell in their championship game.

Bowling

Bob Gregg rolled a 300 game during a 694 series in the Roxy Ann Industrial League.

Golf

Peyton Lindbloom hit his first hole-in-one at Stone Ridge Golf Course on the 12th hole from 147 yards out on March 11.

The shot was witnessed by Ed Lindbloom and Lizzy Merritt.

George Berry drained his seventh ace on the 13th hole at Stone Ridge Golf Course during senior tour play on March 13.

Berry connected on a 272-yard par 4. Playing partners Gary Highland, Stan Reiter and Dave Johnson were present for the shot.

Reese Fisher aced the 13th hole at Rogue Valley Country Club on March 14 from 199 yards out with a 4-iron.

The hole-in-one was witnessed by Ed Fisher.

Bill Heslington picked up a hole-in-one at the Rogue Valley Country Club on March 13.

The shot, which came on the fourth hole with a 9-iron, was witnessed by Dick Blaser, John Baker and Bob Jones.

Mike Moylan knocked in a hole-in-one on the 160-yard No. 5 hole with a 6-iron at Stewart Meadows Golf Course.
