Voting for starters in the sixth annual Mail Tribune All-Star Basketball Classic is fast and furious, with more than 2,800 responses to our online ballot reached as of Monday evening.
North Medford girls standout McKensey Peters is the overall leader, while Cascade Christian's Alex Miller is the leader in the boys ranks.

The games, featuring the Rogue Valley's top high school players from classes 6A to 1A, are Saturday at Kids Unlimited, 821 N. Riverside, Medford. The girls play at 5:15 and the boys at 7. Proceeds go to Kids Unlimited.
As of late Monday, Peters, who will play on the Rogue team, had 840 votes. Phoenix's Baylee Toney and South Medford's Ashley Bolston and Kylie Towry are also making strong bids to start.
On the Siskiyou girls team, the front-runner is Ashland's Georgia Williams, followed by Alaina Thomson of Cascade Christian, Delanie Tally of Phoenix and Julissa Tago of South Medford.
Miller's count for the Siskiyou boys was at 650 as of late Monday. He's followed on his team by Phoenix's Tyson Morris, North Medford's Tristen Holmes and Crater's Connor Lane.
Another Cascade Christian player, David Sellers, tops the Rogue boys team, followed by Crater's Cody Dismukes, South Medford's Jesse Mondry and North Medford's Julian Gray.
Voting will remain open until noon Saturday.
