Pear Blossom Royalty: Shea Fuller

EDITOR'S NOTE: Nine Jackson County senior girls have been selected as princesses to compete for the title of queen of the 2013 Pear Blossom Festival in Medford. Following is biographical information about one of the girls; Bios for all the girls will be published between March 20 and March 28.

Princess: Shea Fuller

Age: 17 City: Medford School: Cascade Christian High School

Parent: Adrienne Fuller

Honors and Awards: Honor Roll (grades nine-12), Most Enthusiastic 2012, Kiwanis Student of the Month.

School Activities: Cheerleading, Poetry Out Loud finalist, yearbook, school event photographer, student tutor and a teacher's assistant.

Civic Involvement: Volunteer at Three Fountains Retirement Home, summer counselor for middle school girls, speaker for Grace Christian chapel for two years.

Future Education/ Career Plans: Attend Southern Oregon University to study nursing with plans to become a registered nurse in pediatrics or an emergency room nurse. She also plans to minor in photography.

The 23rd annual Senior Royalty Scholarship Pageant will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 30, in the North Medford High School auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students and free for children younger than 6.
