Grace Martin passed away at her home in Medford, Ore., Tuesday, March 13, 2013
Grace was married to James S. Martin for many years and they traveled extensively before moving to Medford. James died in 1995. Her companion in later years was Curtis Barnes whose son, Curt Barnes, of Medford, has continued as a family friend.
Grace was a member of the Colony Club and had many friends in Medford. She celebrated her 90th birthday July 4, 2012, at the Rogue Valley Country Club, along with many of her friends. Her loyal and caring staff assisted her faithfully, especially during her illness.
She is survived by her son, Webster (Ellen) Tilton III, of Oro Valley, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Webster Tilton IV, Kindall Drew (Chad) Johnson (Cpt., U.S. Army), and Colin Fletcher Witter-Tilton (Lt. U.S. Army); one great-granddaughter; stepson, William L. (Teri) Martin, of Pasadena, Calif.; and three step-grandchildren, William L. Martin III, Leslie Thompson, and Laura Stone.
She is also survivied by nieces and nephews, Margaret Wilson, Harry B. Wilson Jr., Andrew B. Wilson, Josephine Wilson Havlak, Julie Wilson Sakellariadis and Ellen Wilson Shumway; as well as grandnieces; grandnephews; great-grandnieces; and great-grandnephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry B. Wilson, of St. Louis, Mo.
