  • The city of Ashland website has a new look, designed to be cleaner and easier to navigate.
The new website, designed by Project A, Inc., premiered today at www.ashland.or.us.
"It was time to update it and give it a face lift," said Ann Seltzer, management analyst for the city of Ashland.
Two of the new features of the website include a "Hot Topics" page that focuses on information about city projects and issues and an "Ashland 24/7" page that includes the online services such as utility payments, registration for recreational programs and permit applications that are available to residents at any time.
"Those tools like being able to pay your bill online have always existed," Seltzer said. "We wanted to get all of those tools that people use and are available 24-7 in one place."
The redesign strives to make information the city already had online easier to find. Other features still available on the website include public access to agendas, minutes, news, calendars, employment opportunities and city services.
