Library celebrates Arbor Day

The Medford library, 205 S. Central Ave., celebrates Arbor Day during its regular hours from Monday, April 1, to Wednesday, April 3.

All departments will feature informational displays, books available for checkout and free Douglas fir seedlings provided by J. Herbert Stone Nursery.

The children's department will also feature a touch-table and a mini-play about the life cycle of trees from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2. The play is presented by the Southern Oregon University Department of Environmental Education. The children's department will also feature new barkless natural tree blocks, coloring pages and craft activities.
