  • Burglars are suspected of taking three truck radiators valued at about $7,000 from shop at a home along Highway 140, the Jackson County Sheriff's Department reported.
    Deputies responded to a home in the 7700 block of Highway 140 at 7:09 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release. The homeowner told police he left his home at 4 p.m. and returned at 7 p.m. The doors to his shop, which had been closed when he left, were wide open.
    When he went inside to inspect, he noticed three Kenworth T800 radiators were gone. The stolen equipment was valued at $7,000 total, the news release said.
    Investigators ask anyone who witnessed the theft or saw anything unusual in the rural area outside Eagle Point between 4 and 7 p.m. Thursday to call the Jackson County Sheriff's Department tip line at 541-774-8333.
