    Pat Alexander, South Medford baseball
    The senior drove in six runs, going 2-for-3, in a 13-5 nonleague win over North Valley, then pitched a four-hitter in the twin bill’s second game, a 5-2 win. Both runs were unearned and he fanned six.
    Casie Johnson, Eagle Point girls basketball
    The senior post scored the first nine points of the fourth quarter for the Siskiyous in a 73-61 win over the Rogues in the Mail Tribune All-Star Classic. She finished with 15 points and was the MVP.
    Justin McCreadie, Phoenix baseball
    The junior belted a two-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to force extras and allow the Pirates to defeat St. Mary’s 9-7 in a nonleague game. It was Game 2 of a doubleheader. He was the winning pitcher in the opener.
    Alex Miller, Cascade Christian boys basketball
    The senior guard was MVP of the Mail Tribune All-Star Classic, scoring 17 points, including three 3-pointers, and grabbing three rebounds in an 81-68 Siskiyous win over the Rogues.
    Alee Pinkerton, Prospect softball
    The junior pitcher struck out 19 batters in 12 innings of a District 4 doubleheader sweep of Myrtle Point, 14-2 and 2-0. She had nine strikeouts and one walk in the five-inning opener and 10 Ks with no walks in a three-hit nightcap.
