Stephen Craig Rose passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013, at his Klamath Falls, Ore. residence with loving companion, Cecelia Fenning, by his side. Stephen was born July 8, 1953, to William and Donna (Cooley) Rose in Medford, Ore.
Stephen was raised and attended school in the valley and entered the U.S. Army in 1972 where he served for two years. Stephen worked in the agriculture industry as an equipment operator. His hobbies and activities included his love of the outdoors while fishing, hunting, and gold mining. His affection for birds and his love of dogs, especially his buddy Bandit, was evident in his everyday life.
Stephen is survived by his loving companion of 25 years, Cecelia Fenning; his mother, Donna Rose, of Medford; son, Tony (Jenny) Zelich; and grandson, Austin, of Sheridan, Ore.; brothers, William, Rob, and Jason (Kami) Rose, all of Medford; dear friend, Stephen Clark and his family; and, of course, Bandit, his buddy. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, William C. Rose; and his son, Jeremy.
Memorial services with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, Ore. with Pastor Patrick Stroup officiating.
