Felony arrests

  • Arson — Randall Wayne Rood, 47, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Rood on a charge of second-degree arson. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released because of overcrowding.
  • Robbery — Austin McDougall, 18, of the 2600 block of Carr Street, White City. Medford police Monday arrested McDougall on charges of third-degree robbery and third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail on $10,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Travis James Christy, 28, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Christy on charges of possession of methamphetamine and first-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail and released because of overcrowding.
  • Drugs — Alona Danielle Lopez, 33, of the 800 block of Dakota Avenue, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Lopez on charges of possession of methamphetamine and three out-of-county warrants. She was lodged in jail on $42,500 bail.
  • Assault — Kimberly Rae Loraine, 58, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Loraine on charges of felony fourth-degree assault and harassment. She was lodged in jail on $8,000 bail.
  • Robbery, drugs — Mychelle Leanne Spielbusch, 39, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Spielbusch on charges of third-degree robbery, third-degree theft, possession of methamphetamine and possession of hydrocodone. She was lodged in jail on $20,000 bail.


Crime reports

  • Theft — 1000 block of Stewart Avenue, Medford. Medford police Tuesday took a report in which a Fender Stratocaster guitar, a channel mixer, a Squire amplifier, a motorcycle jacket, vacuum cleaner and cellphone were stolen. The loss was valued at $3,925.
  • Bike theft — 1400 block of Poplar Drive, Medford. Medford police Tuesday took a report in which a Trek road bicycle was stolen. The bicycle was valued at $1,100.
  • Theft — 500 block of East Main Street, Medford. Medford police Tuesday took a report in which a Music Man Bass guitar was stolen. The bass was valued at $2,000.
