Charles Wilmont Duxbury Jr., 90, of White City, Ore. passed away April 3, 2013. He was born in Kansas City, Mo. to Charles and Lila Duxbury (Hill) February 1, 1923. He married his lifelong love Ethel Hattie (Worley) October 2, 1943 whom he met while stationed with the Army in Southern California. They made Whittier, Calif. their home where they raised four children: Faye, Micheal, Montie, and Meshelle.
Charles worked at National Can Company as a set-up man until he retired in 1978. He was a skilled woodworker and enjoyed traveling the western U.S. with his wife.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Ethel Duxbury; his two daughters, Faye Wons and Meshelle Boyko; his two daughters-in-law, Katherine Duxbury and Dee Duxbury; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. He was laid to rest at the Eagle Point National Cemetery in Eagle Point, Ore.
