Patricia (McCoy) Shelton-Cunningham, 60, went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, Wis. Patty was born September 24, 1952 in East St. Louis, Ill., the daughter of Herb and Arlene (Hay) McCoy.
Patty was an accomplished recording artist for the past three decades. One of her most cherished works was her record "Compassion." Patty always felt her greatest accomplishment was her children and instilling in them a love for the Lord.
Patricia is survived by her beloved mother, Arlene McCoy; dear siblings, Dan (Carla) McCoy, Linda (Jerry) Kelso, Becky (Norman) Millet, Herb McCoy, of Germany, and Kevin (Tandra) McCoy; her loving children, Elizabeth (Tom) Topel, William (Julie) Shelton, Michael (Jamie) Shelton, Victor Shelton, and Jaqualine (Robert) Johnston; and 16 beautiful grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. July 5, 2014 at the Ashland Christian Fellowship in Ashland, Ore. This date was chosen by Patty before her passing. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
