Adult education classes held at First Presbyterian

First Presbyterian Church of Ashland will hold its second week of adult education classes on "Gospel Portraits of Jesus" at 9 a.m. Sunday, April 14, at the Fireside Room at the church, at the corner of Siskiyou Boulevard and Walker Avenue.

The class falls between the 8 a.m. communion service and 10 a.m. worship service.

Free lecture series held on biblical prophecy

Dr. James Said will hold a series of free lectures on biblical prophecy beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, April 19, and 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Central Point Seventh-day Adventist Church, 625 N. 10th St. The series will span five weeks through Thursday, May 23, and the lectures will be filmed for television.

Bible discussion follows Christ Unity Church service

The Rev. Bob Wheeler will give a sermon, titled "The Seven Aspects of God," at 11 a.m. Sunday, April 14, at Christ Unity Church, 540 N. Holly St., Medford.

The Silent Unity Prayer Service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesdays, followed by a metaphysical Bible discussion at 11:30 a.m.
