  • Community members are being sought to serve as judges for senior projects at North and South Medford high schools on Thursday, May 30, and Friday, May 31. Approximately 200 volunteers are needed.
Community member judges don't need any particular expertise to participate. They will hear presentations from seniors and review the projects the students have taken on as part of their graduation requirements.
Judges are asked to commit approximately 31/2 hours at the school where they are judging and will review presentations from five or six students.
Judges may participate on either or both days at North and/or South Medford. Check-in begins at 12:15 p.m. and presentations are generally over by 4 p.m. Refreshments will be provided
Anyone interested in judging is asked to contact Mary Holbrook, Medford School District volunteer center coordinator, by email at mholbrook@ja-pdx.org or by phone at 541-842-3920 by Friday, May 3. Please indicate school and day or days preferred in any message and provide contact information.
