Jane Ann Fowler

Jane Ann Fowler, 88, of Medford, Ore. passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Hopesprings Adult Foster Home in Central Point, Ore. She was born in Ashland, Ore. to Claude and Lilly Noble October 28, 1924.

Jane married Russell Fowler April 10, 1946 in Ashland, Ore. She worked at the Box Factory in Hilt, Calif.; she also worked at Ashland Community Hospital, the old community hospital in Medford on East Main, and then Rogue Valley Memorial Hospital when it was first built in 1958. Jane was involved in home extension and square dancing with Russell. She enjoyed antiquing, sewing, cooking, and being a homemaker.

She is survived by sons, Dennis Fowler of Coleville, Calif.; Dale Fowler of Medford, Ore.; daughters, Claudia Hooper of Medford, Ore. and Susan Britton of Jacksonville, Ore.; brother, Dave Noble of Baker City, Ore.; grandchildren, Denise Hooper, Deidra Hooper, Jason Fowler, Tonya Martin, Dennis W. Fowler, Nettajane Britton, Mitchell Britton, and Maxwell Britton; great-grandchildren, Cleo Fowler, Fallon Fowler, Abby Martin, Sam Martin, Esme Wasinger, and Star Fowler.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; parents, Claude and Lilly Noble; son, Steven Fowler; brothers, Charles Noble and Hugh Noble; and sister, Inis Owen.

There will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Memory Gardens Memorial Park, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, Ore. with a gathering after the service at Susan and Tom Britton's home.
