    Dr. James Said will begin a series of historical biblical prophecy seminars at 7 tonight at Central Point Seventh-day Adventist Church, 625 N. 10th St.

    Eastwood Baptist Church will celebrate its 60th anniversary with special services beginning with Bible classes at 9:15 a.m. followed by a sermon titled "We Have Come This Far by Faith" at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 21, at 675 N. Keene Way Drive, Medford.

    The Medford Congregational United Church of Christ will celebrate Earth Day with an Earth Sabbath service and a Sunday school program called "Kids Care for the Earth" at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 21, at 1801 E. Jackson St.
    Following the service, Alan Journet, professor emeritus of ecology and conservation biology, will lead a teach-in on "Gardening in Climate Change" at 11:30 a.m.

    Heritage Christian Fellowship will hold a fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Cascade Christian High School gym, 855 Chevy Way. Proceeds from the event benefit medical expenses of congregation member Rob McKenzie, who was seriously injured in a logging accident in September. Events will include a benefit sale, silent auction, dessert auction and a spaghetti feed. Costs for the spaghetti feed is $5 per adult, and $2 per child 12 and younger. Call 541-778-6549.
