Low-cost pet clinic will offer shots, trimming

There will be a low-cost vaccination and nail-trimming clinic for pets from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway, Phoenix.

Dog vaccinations will include rabies and distemper/parvo booster shots. Cats will receive a rabies/distemper booster. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old, and cannot be ill, on antibiotics, in heat or on cortisone products. Each vaccination costs $10, and each claw-trimming costs $5.

Dog licenses will be available for purchase with rabies certification.
