Fundraiser helps Boston Marathon bombing victims

There will be a jog-a-thon for victims of the Boston Marathon bombings from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at the St. Mary's School track, 816 Black Oak Drive, Medford.

Donations from the event will go to Boston Children's Hospital, according to a news release.

Event organizers have a $5,000 fundraising goal, which is the average cost of one prosthetic limb.
