Medford police, city officials and several community leaders will visit people who live around Jefferson Elementary School to talk about neighborhood concerns at 5 p.m. today.
This is the latest in a line of community surveys intended to improve neighborhood livability, officials said.
Operation C.A.R.E. — Community Awareness Rejuvenation Effort — takes officials into Medford neighborhoods. They will survey about 50 people on potential improvements to social services, public safety, code enforcement, and other factors that contribute to neighborhood livability.
Results of the canvassing operation will be analyzed by various city departments, so officials can follow up on concerns.
This is the eighth such operation and more are planned.
