    • Assault — Tatchiana Myrike Shults, 28, of the 200 block of Schoolhouse Lane, Shady Cove. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Wednesday arrested Shults on a charge of felony fourth-degree assault. She was booked into the Jackson County Jail and released.
    • Elude — Daniel Wesley Melendez, 18, of the 14400 block of Highway 66, Ashland. Ashland police Wednesday arrested Melendez on charges of attempting to elude police in a vehicle, driving under the influence of intoxicants, resisting arrest, interfering with police and reckless driving. He was booked into jail and released because of overcrowding.
    • Drugs — Kaylee Novel Jean Jones, 20, of the 300 block of West Pine Street, Central Point. Medford police Wednesday arrested Jones on charges of possession of methamphetamine and five counts of failure to appear in court. She was lodged in jail without bail.
    • Drugs — Kacey Allen Smith, 23, of the 1000 block of Olympic Avenue, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Smith on charges of possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail without bail.
    • Burglary — Broc Alan Atkinson, 22, no known address. Medford police Thursday arrested Atkinson on charges of first-degree burglary, two counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, third-degree theft and an out-of-county warrant. He was lodged in jail without bail.
    • Burglary — Clayton James Lappat, 22, of the 2700 block of Hawaiian Avenue, Medford. Medford police Thursday arrested Lappat on charges of first-degree burglary, two counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, third-degree criminal mischief and third-degree theft. He was lodged in jail on $30,000 bail.
    • Theft — Glen Anthony Dyer, 21, of the 4300 block of Avenue E, White City. Dyer appeared Thursday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with first-degree theft. He was booked into jail and released.
