Louise Annette Poppa, 88, formerly of White City, Ore. passed Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Cottage Grove, Ore. with her loving family at her side, sunlight on her face, with fresh flowers in her hair. She was born April 25, 1925 in Seaside, Ore., to Doyle Thomas and Annette Louise Killian.

Louise enjoyed reading, her weiner dogs, knitting, crocheting, and was an avid Oregon Duck fan. She had worked at the Hornets Nest in Medford and in the cafeteria at Hedrick Junior High.

Louise survived four marriages; 1st was Francis Leon Turcotte, 2nd was John Calacci, 3rd was Paul Martin and 4th was Milton Poppa Sr. She had four children, daughter Sharon Turcotte of Medford, son Gerald Turcotte of Cottage Grove, son Steven Turcotte (deceased), and daughter Kathy Boykin of Cottage Grove, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life gathering will be from 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2013 at her daughter's home in Cottage Grove. Private family entombment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum. Hillcrest Memorial Park & Mortuary in care of arrangements. www.hillcrestmortuary.com
