  • A Medford woman is being held on $1,010,000 bail in the Jackson County Jail following a Saturday night incident in which she allegedly stabbed a male acquaintance, according to police.

  • A Medford woman is being held on $1,010,000 bail in the Jackson County Jail following a Saturday night incident in which she allegedly stabbed a male acquaintance, according to police.
    Medford police called the incident in the vicinity of Table Rock and Midway roads a domestic disturbance in a news release.
    Sarah Turner, 25, of Medford was found on Midway Road after the incident and was arrested on charges of second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault.
    The victim, an adult male, received a stab wound to the chest and one to the arm. He was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released.
    Officers responded to a report of a stabbing at Table Rock Road and Midway Road at about 7:40 p.m. Saturday.
    Upon arrival approximately three minutes later police discovered neither the suspect nor the victim at the scene. Responders learned that the victim had been driven from the location and was found wandering around in a nearby neighborhood.
    Medford police detectives are still investigating the case.
