A talk on Southern Oregon wineries will be held during a luncheon gathering at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Black Bear Diner, 1150 E. Barnett Road, Medford.
The event is hosted by Southern Oregon Mayflower descendants.
The program explores how a number of local wine tasting rooms have become mini restaurants and concert venues, no longer serving just wine and crackers.
Speakers are Cleve Twitchell, former wine columnist for the Mail Tribune, and Nora Lancaster, director of marketing and sales for Kriselle Cellars, a new winery in Sams Valley.
The event is open to anyone. For details, call Neil Watson at 541-779-0348.
