Police seek armed robber of a Medford Dutch Bros.

Police are searching for a man who robbed a Dutch Bros. coffee stand on Crater Lake Highway at gunpoint Friday night.

Officers responded to the stand at around 10 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery that had just happened, Medford police said in a news release.

The suspect approached the stand, which sits near Whittle Avenue, and pointed a handgun at the barista.

The man had a bandana over his face and was wearing sunglasses.

After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect was last seen running south on Whittle Avenue.

Several Medford officers rushed to the area and attempted to set up a perimeter around a residential neighborhood near where the man was last seen.

A search dog was called to the area, but after an hour the search was called off, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, between 20 and 30 years old. He was wearing a blue hoodie, dark "Carhartt"-style jeans and a dark bandana over his face.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Medford Police Department at 541-770-4784.
