  • The Down Syndrome Association of Southern Oregon will host an inaugural car show intended to raise funds for their organization.
    The Cops and Rodders Car Show will be at 8 a.m. Sunday, May 19, at Heritage Motors, 439 N. Central Ave., Medford. The event is free and open to the public.
    There will be food and beverage vendors, a raffle, and an awards ceremony. Attendees can vote for their favorite cars. Owners who want to enter their vehicle in the show can pre-register by calling 541-776-9805 or by emailing joyce@dsaso.org. Registration, which costs $20 and includes a T-shirt, also will be taken the day of the show.
    The association has been active for more than 30 years in the Rogue Valley, and provides parent outreach, education and support for families who have children and loved ones with Down Syndrome.
