  • Cancer patients and their families can celebrate their journeys at Ride for a Reason at the Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo at The Expo on Friday, May 31. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the rodeo start at 7 p.m.
    Ride for a Reason aims to celebrate people who have survived cancer, inspire those recently diagnosed, support families dealing with the disease, and help educate the community.
    Complimentary rodeo tickets for cancer survivors and patients are available at Asante Cancer Services at both Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford and Asante Three Rivers Medical Center in Grants Pass.
    Friends and family can get advance tickets online by visiting the attheexpo.com ticket page. Advance tickets for the Friday events are $16 for adults and $8 for children 12 and younger. Reserved seats are $19 and $11. Tickets will be available at the door for $19 and $8. Call 541-789-4263 for more information.
