  • Police are looking for a man they say broke into the Medford office of a technology services company and made off with $1,700 worth of cash and computer repair tools over the weekend.
Video surveillance from Acme Computer, in the Sparta Building at 16 N. Riverside Ave., shows a man entering the building through "unknown means," Medford police reported. The computer business shares the historic building with other businesses.
Video shows the suspect walking up and down the building's hallway checking doors. At one point, he kicks open the door to ACME Computer and swipes cash and tools before running off. All of this occurred during the early afternoon hours of Saturday, May 18, according to video surveillance.
The man appears to be in his 30s with a stocky build. He has a dark, well- trimmed goatee. In the video, he wore a blue beanie hat, a green hooded sweatshirt, baggy shorts and dark shoes.
Police ask anyone with information about the burglary to call investigators at 541-770-4783.
