Former Phoenix High player Justin Bohn was named player of the year for the second straight season in Golden Valley Conference baseball all-star balloting.
Bohn, who also was named to the Northern California All-America team, was a sophomore shortstop at Feather River Junior College in Quincy, Calif. He signed a letter of intent last fall to play for Oregon State.
Bohn helped Feather River to its seventh straight conference crown by hitting .335 and leading the team with 59 hits, 39 runs and 30 stolen bases. He had two home runs and drove in 25.
The Golden Eagles posted a 17-5 in conference and 29-13 overall.
