Thelma Margaret Mayham-Roberts of Medford, Ore., passed away peacefully at her home Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 5:55 a.m. at the age of 98.
Thelma, a Rogue Valley pioneer, was born December 31, 1914 in Jacksonville, Ore., to her parents Joseph and Helen Mayham. She was raised in Eagle Point, Ore.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Joanne Roberts; daughter, Donna, and son-in-law, Tom Kimball; granddaughter, Tina, and her husband, Kevin Roy; great-granddaughters Ashley, Molly, and Emily Roy; grandson, Kelly, and his wife, Marci Kimball; and great-grandsons Sean, Tristan, and Brandon Kimball.
Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Roberts; son, James Roberts; sister, Rachel Jones.
Thelma was legendary for her homemade cinnamon rolls and apple pies! She loved cooking for big family gatherings and made the best potato salad ever. She taught herself to crochet and made many tablecloths, doilies, and snowflake Christmas tree ornaments. Thelma always enjoyed a good mocha from Dutch Bros. Coffee. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Thelma was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Rosary will be held at Perl Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2013 at 2100 Siskiyou Blvd., Medford, OR 97504. Graveside services will immediately follow at the Central Point, Oregon IOOF Cemetery, 4900 Hamrick Rd., Central Point, OR 97502.
