    • Rape — Verde Bailey Jr., 51, no known address. Phoenix police Monday arrested Bailey on charges of first-degree rape and first-degree kidnapping. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
    • Assault — Gregory Stewart Killingsworth, 32, of the 3200 block of South Pacific Highway, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Killingsworth on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, harassment and failing to appear on telephonic harassment charges. He was lodged in jail on $45,000 bail.
    • Assault — Timothy Michael Lewis, 28, of the 200 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Lewis on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, interfering with a police report and for violating the conditions of his probation from a previous assault conviction. He was lodged in the jail without bail.
    • Sex offender — Jerod Lee Roy Quinton, 46, of the 1000 block of West 11th Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Quinton on a charge of failing to register as a sex offender. He was lodged in jail without bail.
    • Drugs — Stevie Arta Workman, 22, no known address. Medford police Monday arrested Workman on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and for violating the conditions of his parole on a previous rape conviction. He was lodged in the jail without bail.
    • Fugitive — Michael Wayne Flewell, 28, of Carmichael, Calif. Medford police Monday arrested Flewell on a fugitive warrant out of Washington state and for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was lodged in jail without bail.
    • Drugs — Hunter James Sargent, 20, of Miami, Fla. Sargent made his initial appearance in Jackson County Circuit Court on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was booked in the jail and released.
    • Drugs — Michelle Dawn Hayes, 45, of the 2000 block of Delta Waters Road, Medford. Hayes made her initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on charges of possession of methamphetamine and third-degree theft. She was booked in jail and released.
    • Burglary — John Boze Madden, 50, of the 1400 block of Sterling Creek Road, Jacksonville. Medford police Monday arrested Madden on charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree theft and driving while revoked. He was lodged in jail on $25,000 bail.
    • Assault — Micah Amiel Herrera, 33, of the 700 block of Medford Center, Medford. Central Point police Monday arrested Herrera on charges of first-degree assault and strangulation. He was lodged in jail on more than $1 million bail.
    • Sex abuse — Adam Michael Neylan, 22, of Tracy, Calif. Neylan made his initial appearance Monday in Jackson County Circuit Court on two counts each of second-degree sex abuse and third-degree sex abuse as well as furnishing liquor to a minor. He was booked in jail and released.
    • Drugs — Adam Keith Dickinson, 25, of the 2400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard, Ashland. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Dickinson on charges of possession of methamphetamine and second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail on $11,000 bail.
    • Drugs — Trey Andrew Byars, 23, of the 8400 block of Highway 62, White City. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Byars on charges of possession of methamphetamine and second-degree trespass. He was lodged in jail on $11,000 bail.
    Crime reports
    • Burglary — 100 block of Mellecker Way, Medford. Medford police took a report at 6:04 p.m. Sunday of a burglary to a residence from which two computers and a television were stolen. The loss was valued at $1,700.
    • Vandalism — 1600 block of Veranda Park Drive, Medford. Medford police took a report at 9:25 a.m. Monday of vandalism to a statue with a blue pen. The loss was valued at $1,300.
